One thing that I love is structure. There’s nothing like having a plan and knowing where things are going, however, life doesn’t always allow that. At times we can find ourselves traveling through life blind with no idea about what’s coming next.
Lately my focus has been on trying to find a new job so that I can increase my income. I’ve been feeling like I have so many plans for my life, but I don’t have the funds to do them. So I’ve been going on every site imaginable looking and applying for jobs.
Aside from the whole applying for jobs thing being a tedious task, it’s so frustrating to get rejection letters back. Despite all your effort to make a change in your life there’s no clear direction on how to get where you want to go. Which for can be even more frustrating.
One day while reading yet another rejection letter for a job I found myself wondering if I’ve been looking at this process the wrong way. Maybe it’s not such a bad thing that they are not hiring me because it means that those places are not meant for me. What if they don’t fit the direction that my life is supposed to go in? Who wants to waste their time?

The thing is that life never has one cut and dry path. There are going to be areas where we are not going to know what’s going to happen next, but we have to believe that our story is going to turn out like its meant to. We have to believe that despite not knowing where life is going everything is going to work out in our favor.
