The long tiring tedious wait for… Dare I say it????? Deep Breath… Mr. Right
Some of us thought we had found him and then realized that he wasn’t quite right, some of us have him and as you have grown together you realized that there is no perfect man and actually Mr. Right is simply Mr. Work with it. In other words you work with him and he works with you and hey presto you have managed to get what I call balance. Where you have enough love in the pot to keep you going. Today I’m not talking to the Diva who has her Mr. Right I’m talking to the Diva who is waiting on her champion…
Now before I speak to you about waiting in your tower let me just briefly describe a champion….
1. A person who has defeated all opponents in a competition or series of competitions, so as to hold first place.
2. Anything that takes first place in competition or performance of wills
3. A person who fights for or defends any person or cause: a champion of the oppressed/people or place
4. A fighter or warrior.
Right! Now we have that out of the way lets discuss this waiting game. Your champion as mentioned above is what I hypothetically like to call your Mr. Right. A suitor who has wooed and serenaded your heart and has captured your attention enough for you to consider leaving with him from your tower. Now while I use the adjective of waiting, I am in no way implying that this gives you the permission to just do nothing but wait for him. If we use old fairy tales as a baseline, the princess in the tower was known across the land. Her deeds and accomplishments were many and her hands were always tending to good. Mz princess had her own independence, presence and money and didn’t need Prince Charming to get her life on.
She was a prize that was sought after. Tales of her beauty inside and out were in the mouths and hearts of those that knew her and she was an addition to any king’s kingdom. In short Mz Princess in her tower had it going on …
Champions from everywhere sought the princesses heart but they had to slay dragons and beasts, duel with fellow suitors and prove themselves worthy of her hand before the champion could claim her heart as his own. The beauty of the princess in the tower is that she didn’t settle for any old suitor that approached her tower; She is a precise woman who was not swayed by every sweet sonnet sung of her beauty or prince charming dashing looks. Mz princess understood that talk is cheap and a mans actions defined who he was not his tongue. She did not make a habit of leaving her tower to accommodate any old suitor that sought her affections. Mr. Charming had to come to her level to get her attention and anything less was observed walking away as suitors deemed themselves unworthy.
